Bonsai Barber

Recently I had the great pleasure of creating the Art and Animation of Bonsai Barber on the Nintendo Wii. Development on this project took place in Cambridge and Glasgow, as I commuted up and down Great Britain making graphics for Zoonami Ltd. And it's a wee cracker of a game, even if I do say so myself. It also happens to be a lot of fun to play and certainly everyone at Zoonami and Switchpilot is very proud of it. So! Do you own a Wii? Is it hooked up to the internetto? Then you can play Bonsai Barber via the Wii Shopping channel right now!

Paul Strossmeyer aka The Bat – a Remake/Remodel

From Whitechapel, "Strossmeyer is the Bat, who worked with radioactivity for decades and discovered Element 87, which allows for the easy splitting of the atom and the production of enormous amounts of energy. Strossmeyer used Element 87 to power his flying suit, his weapons, and his bat-shaped aircraft, which can fly through the upper atmosphere at 100,000 miles an hour."

Black Hearted Woman

Remake of The Black Hearted Woman

Seen here trying to escape from a kind of tentacled thing. She's wearing her theatre disguise, as a kind of romanticised victorian-era egyptian princess. The forehead tattoo is 'Ieb', which in Egyptian hieroglyphics means 'heart'. From EgyptArtsite.com - 'The Egyptian believed the heart was the center of all consciousness, even the center of life itself. When someone died it was said that their "heart has departed." It was the only organ that was not removed from the body during mummification. In the Book of the dead, it was the heart that was weighed against the feather of Maat to see if an individual was worthy of joining Osiris in the afterlife'.
